Drink and Draw Featuring: Saint Francis Service Dogs

If you've been looking for a reason to get out of the house this winter, here's one: art, dogs, and community.Blindhouse Beer Co. is hosting a Drink & Draw on January 10th from 2-5 PM, and this month features Saint Francis Service Dogs. If you haven't heard of them, they're a local Roanoke organization doing incredible work. Last year alone, they trained 40 puppies and dogs, supported 47 active partner teams, and helped 10 new teams graduate. These aren't just pets - they're trained service animals that provide safety, independence, and confidence to people navigating challenges most of us can't imagine.At the event, you'll get to see these amazing dogs in action, learn about the training process, and hear stories from their handlers. Plus, you can sketch, grab a beer or non-alcoholic drink, and just enjoy being around good people doing good work. A portion of beer sales goes directly to Saint Francis.You don't need to be an artist to come. Some people sketch, some people just watch and chat. Art supplies are available if you need them.
