Run with Heart 5K

The main focus of the event is to raise money for the Roanoke based 501(c)3 non-profit, Compress and Shock Foundation. We bring free CPR and AED education to all with a specific dedication to those communities most adversely affected by cardiac arrest due to race, ethnicity, language spoken or access to healthcare resources. We also place AEDs into communities in need. We are the group that has placed AEDs into places such as River's Edge Park, Wasena Park, Washington Park, The Center in the Square, The Salvation Army and many other locations. We will be assisted by Jeremy Woods from Run Roanoke, and Ally Bowersock from Run About Sports. We also hope to partner with the Carilion Clinic Cardiovascular Institute (this is yet to be confirmed).
