The Living History Project - Bringing History to Life

Youth from Nurturing Roots Homeschool Group will bring history to life by portraying members of Roanoke’s African American community. The historic figures from the Melrose Plaza History Wall will tell their stories in their own words. Come witness history come to life. Music will be provided by Community ArtsReach. Special appearance by Joseph Bundy as Booker T. Washington. Thank you to Nurturing Roots Homeschool Community, Community ArtsReach, and the Roanoke Arts Commission for their support in bringing this event to life. This event will be held in the Common Area of Melrose Plaza.
