Wildlife CSI: Decoding Animal Tracks

Transform into wildlife investigator with Wildlife CSI: Decoding Animal Tracks! This fun, hands-on program teaches kids the basics of identifying and interpreting footprints left by native Southwest Virginia mammals like deer and raccoon. We’ll start by learning key identification tricks, then get experiment with re-creating the animal track to take home! The adventure concludes outdoors, where you’ll use your new “CSI” skills to search for real tracks and uncover the secret movements of animals right in our park. Please bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
