Clean Valley Day Cleanup

The public is invited to help get rid of litter and make our community a cleaner, healthier place for all during Clean Valley Day Cleanup in April. All volunteers get FREE trash bags and gloves. This year we will be distributing the free supplies at Roanoke Mountain Adventures on Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to kick off this valley-wide Clean Valley Day Cleanup. To join in this community effort: 1) Pick your spot – a playground, roadside, stream bank, or your own neighborhood. 2) Go solo or pick your team. This can be a fun team-building opportunity for corporations, civic organizations, youth, and church groups. 3) Pick an April date and time that’s convenient. 4) Register. Click here to register and for more details. Please indicate “Type” as “Clean Valley Day Cleanups” and allow 1 week for us to prepare your supplies. 5) Report your litter data.
