Neighborhood Recycling Day

Bring your clean glass and E-waste for FREE recycling the third Thursday of every other month, from noon to 1 p.m., at the Heights Community Church courtyard, 2014 Memorial Ave., SW, Roanoke 24015. The next recycling event is Thursday, Feb. 19, from noon to 1 p.m., at the Heights Community Church courtyard.Accepted items E-Waste: – Electronics: Anything that uses or once used electricity. – Bulbs & batteries: Bulbs and batteries should be bagged. Lithium-ion batteries should be bagged individually, if they are removed from a device.Glass: – Food and beverage glass that is clean – free of debris or leftover material. Label-free is great but not necessary.
