Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon

The Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon is the premier running event in the Roanoke Valley. It showcases our region to runners across the country and the globe and has created a multi-million dollar economic impact for the region over the past 17 years. Festivities start with packet pickup and a concert on Friday evening in Elmwood Park, continue on Saturday with the main event - a 26.2 mile foot race that goes up Mill Mountain, to the Blue Ridge Parkway, back into the city to Mill Mountain Star, through neighborhoods, and finishing in Elmwood Park. A concert follows in the evening, and the weekend is wrapped up on Sunday with the "Slow-K" 5K event on the greenway.
