Early voting location for City of Roanoke voters: 317 Kimball Ave NE, Roanoke, VA 24016 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Friday, April 10, 2026 Deadline: Last day to apply for an absentee ballot to be mailed for the April 21, 2026, Special Election. 5 PM Tuesday, April 14, 2026 Deadline: Last day to register to vote or make updates to your voter registration record. Check your registration status In-person: 5 PM; Online: 11:59 PM Saturdays, April 11 and April 18, 2026 Office of Voter Registration and Elections is OPEN for early in-person voting. Early voting location for City of Roanoke voters: 317 Kimball Ave NE, Roanoke, VA 24016 Deadline: Saturday, April 18 is the last day to vote early. 9 AM - 5 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2026 Election Day: April 21, 2026, Special Election - Proposed Constitutional Amendment. Voters must vote at their assigned polling location. Find my polling place Deadline: Mailed ballots must be postmarked no later than April 21 in order to be counted. Deadline: Last day for absentee ballots to be returned via dropbox. 6 AM - 7 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2026 Provisional Ballot Meeting - Limited attendance meeting per § 24.2-653.01(B). Canvass of Votes - Open to the public. 3 PM Friday, April 24, 2026 Deadline: Provisional No ID voter must provide a copy of acceptable ID via fax, email, mail or in person. Deadline: Last day mailed ballots that have been postmarked on or before April 21 can be counted. 12 Noon Monday, April 27, 2026 Deadline: Certification of official election results by the Roanoke City Electoral Board transmitted to the State Board of Elections. The State Board of Elections will further certify the results prior to the first Monday in December. 5 PM
