Wednesday Night Disco – Rescheduled for June 3rd! With all the rain and more potentially in the forecast, we’ve decided to move the party to next Wednesday, June 3rd! The Disco Mountain Bike Race is always a groovy time, and we’re not ready to let it fade into the night just yet. Be sure to sign up! Early registration is the best way to support your local event organizers. We’re also looking for volunteers to help make this event happen. If you’d like to lend a hand and be part of the fun, we’d love to have you! Sign up to race or volunteer at the registration link! This award-winning XC Mountain Bike race series that quickly climbed the ranks as one of Virginia’s grooviest mountain bike events is returning! Grab your fat-tired friends and ride hump day away as you pedal through one of Roanoke’s finest trail systems. With categories for both beginners and expert riders, everyone is welcome! So, don’t be shy. Hop on your bike and get your groove on!

More about Mill Mountain Park
Mill Mountain Park is a beautiful park overlooking the city, best known as the home of the Roanoke Star. The star stands 88.5 feet tall, lit by 2,000 feet of neon, and you can see it from all over the Valley. There are two overlooks with views stretching out for 50+ miles, plus the 3.3-mile Star Trail climbing up from Riverland Road. A huge variety of events happen here, from races, group hikes, seasonal gatherings, and music but if you're in town, even if there isn't an event, you should go for the views.
