Dr Pepper Park is a large outdoor venue along the Roanoke River at the base of Mill Mountain. It scales from smaller shows to a few thousand people and brings in a mix of national and regional touring acts from April through October. Most people bring chairs or blankets and settle in on the lawn, though there's a VIP terrace if you want something a little more set up. It's an easy walk from nearby neighborhoods, which makes it even more of a draw.
