The Ambassador —Virginia-native Stephen Gabriel Lewis “The Ambassador” emerged as a potent voice in reggae, soul, rock and hip-hop fused rhythms. His musical journey stems from time spent recording in Southern California and Southwest Virginia, culminating in the full-length release Cali Love (2018) and prior album New Roots, which earned a nomination for “World Music Album of the Year” at the San Diego Music Awards. Musically, The Ambassador weaves soulful vocals with danceable reggae beats, bluesy grooves and rock-infused hooks, reaching audiences across generations and genres. Father Sun — rooted in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, Father Sun brings the genuine spirit of reggae, blending original compositions with island-infused covers and a psychedelic/reggae twist. The song writing and rhythm section of father and son (Janiah and Nyo Allen) anchors the groove, alongside guitarist Aram Skenderian and other collaborators.
