Each month will highlight a new musician, host a new food truck, and have crafts and activities for the whole family to enjoy! More about Mill Mountain Park
Mill Mountain Park is a beautiful park overlooking the city, best known as the home of the Roanoke Star. The star stands 88.5 feet tall, lit by 2,000 feet of neon, and you can see it from all over the Valley. There are two overlooks with views stretching out for 50+ miles, plus the 3.3-mile Star Trail climbing up from Riverland Road. A huge variety of events happen here, from races, group hikes, seasonal gatherings, and music but if you're in town, even if there isn't an event, you should go for the views.
