Together, we can make a difference. GET READY TO ROCK & ROLL WITH THE SML BOOMER BANDThe SML Boomer Band is a group of eight talented musicians, playing unforgettable songs from the 60's and 70's. From artists such as The Temptations, Wilson Pickett, The Four Tops, Santana, and The Eagles, these timeless classics come to life on stage. The band has a lineup of five vocalists bringing you the harmonies that you will remember from the past, while the backline musicians provide the instrumentation that pulls it all together. Formed in 2019 in the Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia area, the SML Boomer Band donates all of the proceeds from performances to support many different charities and non-profit organizations throughout the local area. This show is especially important in that three Franklin County charities have come together to bring you this special event....Helping Hands, The Warming Shelter, and Stepping Stone Mission. All of the band members met after retiring to Smith Mountain Lake and decided to support their local communities with their time and talents. They perform more than ten shows every year around the area. The energy of their performance will have you singing along, clapping, dancing (on the dance floor or in your seat) and enjoying music that brings back good memories. Whether you are already a fan of the band or a first-time listener, enjoy the music that moves generations.
