PedalSafe August Public Meeting

Join PedalSafe ROA to learn about a collaborative project to increase walking and biking for health in Northwest Roanoke and encourage greater use of the Lick Run Greenway! Ride: We'll meet at Market Square downtown on Monday, August 10 at 5:30pm. Then, at 5:45pm we'll head out on a ~3.5-mile group bike ride to The Collective, riding the Lick Run Greenway and passing through the project area along the way. Bring a bike, helmet, and lights! Meeting: At 6:30pm, we'll gather at The Collective to dig into the project, including the latest updates and insights on the city's work in the neighborhood and project area, plus time for your questions and ideas. Everyone is welcome, riders and non-riders alike! Monday, August 10 Ride: 5:30pm gather, 5:45pm depart, Market Square Meeting: 6:30-7:30pm, The Collective, 601 11th St NW Project background: This neighborhood walkability project is a collaboration between PedalSafe ROA, Humble Hustle, the Hope Center, Strong Towns Roanoke, and the City of Roanoke, supported by grant funding through the Virginia Walkability Action Institute (VWAI).
