Join the Harrison Museum of African American Culture for the next installment of Building Beloved Communities Lecture Series as we welcome acclaimed scholar Boykin Sanders, Ph.D. Dr. Sanders is Distinguished Professor of New Testament Studies and Greek and Senior Research Scholar in Religion and Culture. His scholarship examines the intersections of religion, culture, politics, and liberation, with a focus on amplifying the voices of those historically left out or oppressed. Through his work, he invites audiences to consider the New Testament as a story of resilience, restoration, and hope within a colonial world. The evening will offer an opportunity to engage with thought-provoking ideas, meaningful dialogue, and community conversation around history, faith, justice, and culture.
