Celebrate the fascinating world of bugs with a fun-filled day for the whole family! Insect Fest brings nature to life through hands-on activities, educational exhibits, interactive displays, crafts and more, all centered around the insects that share our world. Explore Insect-Themed StationsLook for giant insect displays throughout the park — each one marks a unique activity station: - Monarch Butterflies: Learn about their life cycle, see butterfly colors and patterns with large 2D hand-painted models, and make your own butterfly craft.- Stag Beetle: Explore beetle displays and paint your own “rock beetle” to take home.- Inch Worm: Discover how insects measure up, why they're important, how they protect themselves, and build your own insect using craft materials.- Firefly: Dive into the science of fireflies and create your own firefly necklace!- Cicada: Listen to the sounds of insects and explore how they communicate.- Wasp: Learn about the wasp life cycle, and wasp paper craft.
