Saturday, August 29 is the final Local Summer Saturday of the season. Residents of Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Salem, Botetourt, Bedford, Craig, Franklin, Floyd, and Montgomery counties can enjoy FREE admission to the Roanoke History Museum and O. Winston Link Museum with proof of residency.
Explore the galleries, see Artist-in-Residence Bryce Cobbs creating in the Trackside Gallery, and from 1-3pm, join Museum Educator Jennifer Daniel to learn about cyanotypes and create your own for $3.

More about O. Winston Link Museum
The O. Winston Link Museum focuses on black-and-white photography of Norfolk & Western steam trains from the 1950s. There are over 300 images, many shot at night, which is part of what makes them interesting. It's located in the old railway station right next to Hotel Roanoke. If you have interest in trains or photography, it's worth the time.
