Join Common Clay at Golden Cactus Brewery on Thursday, September 3rd for a fun Paint Your Own Beer Stein session! Paint a custom beer stein while sipping on your favorite Cactus brew. Steins will be available for pick up ** and** use on Oktoberfest at the Cactus on September 26th! All materials provided, no experience needed. Workshop runs from 6p - 8p, participants are welcome to come anytime after we start and are encouraged to give themselves enough time to finish their piece.

Golden Cactus is a brewery in Roanoke's West End, set inside a former 1950s Royal Crown Cola bottling warehouse, it's large, open and full of greenery, with large windows that open for letting the fresh air in. They keep a small rotation of taps, pinball machines, and a nice sized patio where regular vendor markets are held Spring, Summer and Fall. Frequent events happen indoor and don't miss the Wednesday local jam session, typically Irish, Celtic & Americana. It's dog-friendly too!
