Join Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest and the Blue Ridge Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) to witness a Naturalization Ceremony welcoming 30 new American citizens in honor of Constitution Day, the day in 1787 the American Constitution was signed into law. Admission to the ceremony is included with general admission to Poplar Forest.

Poplar Forest is Jefferson's personal retreat about an hour East toward Lynchburg. It's a National Historic Landmark with tours, walking grounds, and seasonal events throughout the year. The octagonal house is the main draw and doesn't really look like anything else in Virginia. It's an easy day trip if you want something different from the usual.
