35th Annual Henry Street Heritage Festival

The Harrison Museum of African American Culture Presents the Henry Street Heritage Festival Featuring the Family Reunion Experience Hosted by Not Your Average Everything & The Humble Hustle Company, Inc. The Henry Street Festival has always been more than a concert, it celebrates the enduring legacy of Henry Street, where Black culture, business, music, and community flourished before being decimated by urban renewal. This year, we’re honoring that legacy by bringing the festival back to its roots while introducing a new tradition: The Family Reunion Experience. Designed to feel like the reunion everyone is invited to, this year’s celebration brings together neighbors, families, alumni, visitors, and friends from every generation and across all ages to reconnect through the things that have always united us: music, food, storytelling, art, and shared experiences. Throughout the full day of festivities and activations, guests will journey through the sounds that have shaped our communities, from Gospel and Jazz to R&B, Soul, Funk, and beyond, while enjoying live performances, cultural exhibits, local vendors, family-friendly activities, community organizations, and experiences that honor both our history and our future.
