Discover Ecuador through its food and art! We are bringing together food and art for a lovely evening of exploration and creativity. For this experience, we’re traveling to Ecuador through three traditional dishes and the work of one of the country’s most celebrated artists. Together with guest chef Amia of Catered to the Soul, we’ll explore Ecuadorian flavors before picking up our paintbrushes for a guided art experience inspired by Ecuadorian artist Oswaldo Guayasamín. THE FOOD Our evening begins with three Ecuadorian tastings: Ceviche de Palmitos — Heart of Palm CevicheHearts of palm, tomato, red onion, lime, orange and cilantro. Vegan and vegetarian Sopa de Quinoa — Quinoa Soup with BeefQuinoa, beef, potatoes, peas and herbs. Locro de Papa — Potato SoupCreamy potato soup with avocado, cilantro and queso fresco. Vegetarian THE ART Next, we’ll discover the work of renowned Ecuadorian artist Oswaldo Guayasamín, exploring his story and expressive approach to art. We’ll guide you through creating your own floral painting inspired by one of his works, using shape, line and color to make something uniquely yours. No art experience is necessary. Just come ready to explore, create and enjoy the evening!
