Wet Felted Bees Workshop

In partnership with Hollins University, Eleanor D. Wilson Museum, and led by artist Mallory Zondag, this workshop will lead participants in the art of wet felting! Patrons will create tiny bumblebees local to Roanoke and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Watch wool transform when exposed to water, soap, and agitation, creating felt! The bees made during this workshop will become part of the "Fiber Living Wall" piece that will be installed in Roanoke Public Libraries in 2028! All ages are welcome. The workshop will take place in the Teen Room of the Raleigh Court Branch Library at 12:30PM. Please join us!
