This year, to honor America’s 250th Anniversary, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is holding an original 13 Colony Prayer Tour this fall. Each of these one-day events hosted by the BGEA in partnership with local churches, will feature a speaker with an encouraging message of hope and a time of prayer. This is a free, family friendly, non-alcoholic event open to everyone in the community. Many of the local churches will participate. Attendees bring blankets and chairs and enjoy a 45-minute program.

More about Elmwood Park Amphitheater
Elmwood is the main outdoor stage downtown, right off Jefferson Street. It holds over 4,000 people on an awesome sloped and terraced lawn with good sight lines pretty much everywhere. This is where the bigger free concert series, festivals, and symphony events land in the summer. When something's going on and the weather cooperates, the whole place fills in.
