Grandin Chillagefest

"It's the big one, Elizabeth! I'm coming to join you, honey!"But seriously, It's the grand finale of the year and it's a total smoke show! Saturday October 24th starting at 4pm we're gonna be heating the Village up with Jstop Latin Soul. Born in the Blue Ridge mountains of Roanoke, Virginia, and fueled by an obsession for Afro-Cuban rhythms, Jstop Latin Soul ignites the stage with a bold fusion of Latin grooves, blazing jazz, and gritty soul. Then, at 7pm local favorites and Chillage alumni, Lazy Man Dub Band will take to the stage to send us off proper! Lazy Man draws inspiration from the great reggae bands of the past, such as Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Skatalites, and The Maytals. Their music combines classic elements of roots reggae, dub, and one drop with a modern sensibility, resulting in a sound that is both timeless and fresh. So bring a friend or ten and let's chill. The Deets:Food: Countryman Jamaican & Queen Vegan Grace's Place Pizzeria The Rad Shack Rookies Libations:Michelob Ultra Bold Rock cider Red & White wine Hard sodas Our stellar vendors:Two Rooster’s Kettle Corn Big Lick Exotix Lib’s Lab Entertainment Katherine Devine Art Pop's Ice Cream & Soda BarHenritze Dental Photo BoothAnd sidewalk chalk for days… We will be honoring Roanoke Co+op owners and GVBA members with free admission to all Chillage events.
