Resilience: A Tribute to the Human Spirit

The Winds of the Blue Ridge is a collection of local musicians who come together to enrich the Roanoke community with quality wind ensemble music. For this program we will be paying tribute to the endurance of the human spirit through music. The backstory of each piece refers to a time when adversity is faced the human spirit will persevere. We will be including music composed by David Holsinger, Omar Thomas, Christina Huss, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and others.
