Description
We’re having a birthday party and of course you’re invited! The Taubman Museum of Art is turning 75 this year, and we think a birthday this big deserves a celebration for the whole community. Bring the family and help us blow out the imaginary candles as we celebrate with sweet treats, music, art, and plenty of birthday fun! Come make some new Museum memories while helping us celebrate 75 years of bringing people and art together in our community. Whether your family visits all the time or you’ve never stepped inside the Taubman before, this party is for you. Bring the kids, bring the grandparents, bring your favorite birthday-party people and come celebrate with us! Free and welcoming to all. No registration required. Walk-ins welcome and encouraged! More about Taubman Museum of Art
The Taubman is a striking 75,000 square foot Randall Stout-designed building that's hard to miss. Inside are a dozen galleries and a steady rotation of exhibitions throughout the year. They also run evening events, lectures, and community nights that bring in a different crowd than the usual downtown flow. Even if you're just passing through, the space itself is worth seeing.
