Understanding Supportive Care: Choices for Today & Tomorrow

Join Good Samaritan Hospice and the Gainsboro Branch Library for an informative and easy-to-understand program exploring hospice care, palliative care and home health services. Participants will learn how these services differ, when they may be appropriate and how they can support individuals and families navigating serious illness. The program will also introduce Five Wishes, an advance care planning program that helps adults communicate their medical, personal, emotional and spiritual preferences for future care. This educational session is open to anyone interested in learning more about supportive care options and planning ahead for future healthcare needs.
