Description
In a provincial Russian town, sisters Olga, Masha, and Irina cling to one dream: escaping to Moscow, the city of their happy childhood. Years pass, love affairs falter, and their brother Andrey gambles away the family estate, yet the sisters never make the journey. Around them, soldiers come and go, marriages disappoint, and ambitions quietly die.
